The RAM-B-149Z-C1U consists of a zinc coated u-bolt base, standard size double socket arm and universal 2cm-20 thread, centered on a 6cm diameter plate.
The male 2cm long, 2cm-20 thread in the middle of the 6cm diameter plate will connect to the standard female thread found at the bottom of most still and video cameras. Included in this package is hardware that will accommodate rails from1cm to 3cm in diameter.
The base includes black cover caps to be placed over the exposed ends of the u-bolt. The included composite rail adapter can narrow the rail to a minimum width of 1cm. The mount is designed with a RAM 2cm diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
