The Silky Hayauchi 6.3m 3 Extension Pole Saw is one of Silky’s best selling, professional aluminium telescoping pole saw. The design of the extension poles is oval which assists in providing precise control over the direction of the blade. The shape of the poles along with the fact that they are made from aluminium alloy gives overall strength and rigidity to the pole. The base pole has a pole-end shock absorber and comfortable rubberized overgrip which ensures good hold and control. The 15-2/5-inch curved blade incorporates proprietary Silky 4-RETSUME Technology making it appear there 4 rows of teeth. The blade can be adjusted to two different angles for lower or higher cutting and features an upper and lower sickle. The upper sickle is used to cut vines and the lower sickle to undercut bark.

The lower sickle provides a clean cut without damaging the tree, while the upper sickle prevents the blade from slipping off the limb. A clever locking system is incorporated to allow effective use of the Hayauchi pole saw. The primary locking system is through locking pins/buttons while the secondary locking system is through friction clamps. These locks ensure structural stability of the extended poles. Furthermore this dual locking system allows 100% of the effort at the handle to be effectively transferred to the blade up to 21 feet away. Spring-loaded locking buttons allow multiple length adjustments and safety friction clamps hold the extensions firmly in place. It comes complete with a black rigid-plastic blade cover.
